Sunday 25th August
20:21 Visual Arts Centre
Free Entry / Accessible Toilets / Open for Pride 12pm to 5.30pm
20-21 Visual Arts are proud supporters of Scunthorpe Pride and are once again excited to be part of this important day.
We are commemorating the occasion with the exhibition ‘Strong as Steel,’ Taking place in the entrance and café areas of 20-21 and another location tbc.
Strong as Steel is an exhibition of artists who identify as queer. Local, national and international artists have been selected by curator Robin Stones, following an open-call invitation to artists to exhibit during Scunthorpe Pride. Featuring paintings, ceramics, prints and installations, Strong as Steel aims to include queer artists of all levels and ages – showcasing their artwork to a wider audience.

North Lincolnshire Museum are joining us to invite the public to share their LGBTQIA+ Histories. Come see them in 20:21 Visual Arts Centre, do a quick voice recording and be added into the Museum’s collection! At present, the Museum has very little that represents the LGBTQIA+ community in North Lincolnshire in their collection. They would love you to be a part of that change.
The 20-21 Cafe will be running an affordable exciting festival-style menu including hot dogs (vegan options available) and dirty fries.
Our gallery shop will be stocking a range of limited-edition Pride art and gifts by local artists. Bring the kids along as we will be providing rainbow-adorned free arts and crafts.
Join us for a day of art, food, and fun as we celebrate diversity and creativity at Scunthorpe Pride!
