Scunthorpe Pride

We are thrilled to announce we have now received our charity status. Our Pride event is about community and bringing people together to celebrate and remember why we have Pride. We also host an array of different events and launched our social meets, which are now self running with our lovely regulars. Alongside that our Trustee and partner run the Rainbow Youth monthly group voluntarily for under 18’s.

We have already dedicated many volunteering hours to the cause of supporting our community and wider. We hope to bring Scunthorpe Pride year after year but we need your help with donations, whether it’s £3 or £30. Every amount raised goes into our events. You can pledge to donate yearly or monthly or as a One-Time donation.

THE OBJECTS OF SCUNTHORPE PRIDE ARE: TO PROMOTE EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AS WELL AS PROMOTING THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION WITH REGARDS TO SEXUAL ORIENTATION AND GENDER IDENTITY IN SCUNTHORPE THROUGH: 1/ ORGANISING AND PROMOTING EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO CELEBRATE THE LGBT+ COMMUNITY AND RAISE AWARENESS OF DISCRIMINATION AND OTHER ISSUES AFFECTING THE LGBT+ COMMUNITY AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF LGBT+ RIGHTS. 2/ ORGANISING AN ANNUAL FESTIVAL CELEBRATING THE LGBT+ COMMUNITY AND PROVIDING A SPACE FOR DISCUSSION AND ADVANCEMENT OF LGBT+ RIGHTS.
