Last week, the Scunthorpe Pride trustees held our first AGM as a registered charity. We discussed why we volunteer and why we do what we do for our community, which led us to the decision to fund the Adult Prom completely free of charge to attendees. Social members, sponsors, volunteers, supporters and other local pride teams will get first refusal on invites and a small amount will be available to general public.
Originally we released tickets the week before last at £15 but we have refunded any purchased and will be offering these for FREE, one rule you MUST have your name on the guest list.
This is to thank everyone who has supported us so far, help those in hardship who cannot afford a ticket and most importantly to bring people together.
How do you get a free ticket?

How many can I get?
Please only reserve what you need, we know they are free but don’t take up tickets you won’t use and if you can’t make it, please let us know to release your ticket to someone else. There is a limit you can reserve per person to try and avoid this happening.

What is the Prom & Where is it?
There will be live entertainment from Local AFAB Queen Nora Divergent, Pride’s favourite country pop star Smashby, DJ Ananymous, games and more surprises for a free celebration of how far we have come over the last 3 years, our new charity status and the friendships we have formed.
The Wortley Hotel have been a massive support to Scunthorpe Pride, we can’t thank them enough. We love their venue and Gez and the team are happy to welcome our events.
Do I have to have a date?
Of course not! Come as you are, you can come on your own, with a friend or with a partner. We are sure you will find friendly people there to chat or dance with.
Capacity & Attending
Once we hit capacity of tickets, there will be no more unless we have any cancellations. So grab yours quickly and don’t leave it until last minute. YOU MUST have your name on the online guest list to enter the event. There were only 60 available online but since the announcement tickets are going quick!
If you can no longer attend once booking tickets, please let us know so we can release to the public.
