Scunthorpe Pride 2025: Celebrating Diversity, Unity, and Love in the Heart of North Lincolnshire

Scunthorpe Pride 2025 is set to be an unforgettable celebration of LGBTQ+ rights, culture, diversity and community. The event, which will take place on Saturday 23rd August 2025 at Church Square between 12pm and 7pm and promises to be a vibrant and inclusive gathering for people of all backgrounds, ages, and identities, marking another milestone in the town’s ongoing commitment to inclusivity and equality. This will be Scunthorpe Pride’s 3rd year. 2023 saw 3,000 visitors and in its 2nd year the event soared to an attendance of over 10,000.

As part of this year’s celebration, Scunthorpe Pride is proud to announce a diverse range of activities and performances designed to foster unity, amplify LGBTQ+ voices, and celebrate the richness of the local community. Whether you’re an ally, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, or someone looking to learn more and show support, Scunthorpe Pride offers something for everyone.

Highlights of Scunthorpe Pride 2025:

Parade through Scunthorpe Town Centre:The festivities will kick off with a lively parade through the town centre, welcoming local community groups, charities, businesses and people all united in solidarity.Watch as the town centre of Scunthorpe comes alive with rainbow colors and friendly faces.
11:15 Meet near to Natwest and Lucky Tuppence Sweet shop area. 11:30am set off to Church Square Entrance for main stage entertainment at 12pm.

Live Music & Performances: The main stage will host a series of performances throughout the day, including LGBTQ+ rising talent. Headlining acts include Sonia Evans and Phats and Small. There will be drag, pop, punk rock, rap and more ensuring there’s something for everyone.

LGBTQ+ Awareness & Education:Service stalls will provide attendees with important resources on LGBTQ+, adoption and fostering, safety, sexual health and mental health. Making Scunthorpe Pride not just a celebration, but a catalyst for positive change.

Pride Market & Food Court : A marketplace featuring local vendors, food stalls, local groups and organisations will showcase small businesses and other local causes. The Scunthorpe Pride stall will also offer merchandise to buy and support the event and charity.

Family-friendly Activities: Scunthorpe Pride 2025 is a celebration for the whole family, with dedicated areas for children and families, including face painting, games, arts and crafts, and a relaxed space for parents and caregivers to enjoy the day. More information will be released soon but Scunthorpe Central Library and 20:21 Arts Centre will be providing different options to get involved in on the day.

Retro Bar Afterparty: To wrap up the festivities, we are in talks with Retro bar as this seems to be the firm favourite for the pride after parties. We are hoping the venue can open earlier so you can continue on up the high street. The after party will keep the energy high and the celebration going well into the night. More details coming soon.
