THE PRIDE PARADE
The Pride parade will meet between 11am and 11:15am.

This is only our 2nd year of the parade but 200 of you turned up to join the last one. If you are a large group, organisation or business joining then please contact the team. For safety we need to be prepared for the number of people attending. Contact us

The parade will walk from near Santander bank down towards the Specsavers entrance of Scunthorpe Pride. Feel free to branch off at this point as there are 2 other entrances to the event, which may be quieter at this time.

MAIN STAGE
Starts shortly after the gates to Pride opens.

STALLS, FOOD AND PRIDE MARKET

We have LOTS of different causes, charities, services and retail stalls for you to explore at the Pride market and in the main arena. See full list of stalls here

FAIR RIDES

We are only a small festival site in comparison to some events but we’ve managed to squeeze a few little rides in for the kids and one for the adults. This is a chargeable activitiy and payable to the ride operators.


THE BAR AREA

Run by the company behind Stadium Weekender, you’ll have cold pints and a selection of spirits, normal rules of Challenge 25 apply and please drink responsibly, we have free water station nearby. Non alcoholic options are available from our community bar and tuck shop.


QUIET ZONE & SENSORY
Inside Scunthorpe Library

This is open to anyone who needs a break away from the noise of the main event. There’s also some activities and an escape room inside the venue. The quiet zone will have sensory and calm activities for anyone finding it overwhelming.

Near 20:21 Visual Arts Centre

TEEN BUS
Believe in Youth Positive Activities

SUPPORT THE EVENT
Buy from our Merch stall and Tuckshop

Profits from both of these stalls goes 100% directly back into the Scunthorpe Pride charity. We’ve got 50 t-shirts to sell at just £15 each but if we sell out of your size and colour you can make an order for delivery at a later date. We have our popular fabric wristbands for £2 minimum donation. There’s also badges and all sorts of other things. Our tuck shop will stock non alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, bottled water and snacks at a reasonable price.

ESCAPE ROOM – Inside Scunthorpe Library
Available to book for free for time slots between 11am and 4pm


Fancy trying the Escape room on our festival site at Scunthorpe Library on Pride day? Book via the link. It’s free.
Can you escape the Great and Powerful Oz in the Emerald City? To celebrate Pride, Scunthorpe Central will be hosting an escape room based on The Wizard of Oz on Saturday 23rd August.
So gather your team of Lions, Scarecrows and Tin Men (no more than 5), and try to escape The Emerald City in 45 minutes by solving a series of clues.

This is a free event, but please book one of the following timeslots:
11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.

This event is suitable for ages 10 and above.


20:21 VISUAL ARTS CENTRE
Exhibition, Karaoke, Record Breaking Hoola, Crafts and more

Always a massive support to our event and team, visit 20:21 inside Church Square. There is a BRAND NEW exhibition but we expect this to be VERY busy so if you miss that, book again for another day. There’s also a karaoke party, hula hoop record breaker and crafts..plus more so see what else is on here.


SUPPORT

If you are looking for local services and support please visit the Pride market and stalls for information. We also have a special organisation founded by main stage rap artist Nate Ethan for Transgender and Non-binary to chat and gain info called TNB Connect (pride market area). We also have various mental health and sexual health organisations in attendance.
If you require assistance or support at the event please seek out a member of the team, volunteer or security. We have also assigned a QUIET entrance on Home Street down the side of the Ongo and council building, more info on accessibility and inclusivity here.
