Due to the huge success of the first ever Scunthorpe Pride event we are in urgent need to recruit new volunteers for the pride events team. All the pride team are volunteers, there is no monetary gain, we don’t get paid but we all have passion, enthusiasm and love for what we do. Help us make the area a better and more accepting place to be.
Main positions available are:
Treasurer – Position Now filled
Fundraising Manager– Position now filled
Volunteer Coordinator:
You will help to recruit new volunteers for the main pride event and manage and organise a group of volunteers at events.
Stall & Market Coordinator
You will work closely with Beckie who oversees market & vendor bookings helping her to liaise and book stalls, charities and vendors.
Graphics & PR assistant
You will work closely with Leanne to help deliver an effective advertising campaign for fundraisers and Scunthorpe Pride itself, assist with producing and editing graphics, deal with promotional materials and networking. Experience with design programs essential and familiar with Canva. You may need to post on socials so you need to be professional and friendly.
Other volunteer positions:
Pride Events Team
This is more of a hands on role, you’ll be heavily involved in the planning and running of the day. You’ll support the main committee with pride related jobs, covering all aspects of the event.
