After an 8 year break, OUT NITE!? returns. Scunthorpe’s only LGBTQ+ Club night, maybe you can remember the old nights at The Baths Hall, Geneva Bar, Garbos, Penny Bank, Beacon or Lord Bobs?
Maybe you are too young for that or you simply never knew about them or perhaps moved here more recently, either way LGBTQ+ nights were the best place to meet new friends and feel safe in a welcoming environment.
You’re never too old to come OUT TNITE, everyone above the age of 18 all the way to 80+ are welcome here.

We are kicking off with a 80s vs 90s theme, so come dressed in your favourite decade fancy dress and lets see which one wins! There may be a lip sync battle or two as you choose your #team80s or #team90s.
Why isn’t it free & how much is it?
We are raising money for Scunthorpe Pride, so all door profit will go to the Scunthorpe Pride charity. The cost also covers any expenses such as wristbands, prizes and props.
Advance tickets are just £3 each and if we have remaining capacity it will be £5 on the door.
Why do I need to buy a ticket?
We need to know roughly how many people are coming, so we can see if the event is wanted and to make sure the bar can plan ahead with staffing.
Where can I get a ticket?
Available now via Skiddle. Unfortunately they add a £1 booking fee but you’ll still save £1 and you’ll be helping us with numbers. Some people don’t like to buy online and that’s no problem. If you’d prefer you can message the OUT TNITE page to reserve yours. There’s also group discounts on groups over 10 people so get in touch.
Will there be more events?
That’s up to you! This is a trial, so if you turn up and want more, if we prove the demand for the event then we can keep going. If we keep going, we will be looking at Bi-monthly with different themes decided by you. This theme was voted for by the public so ensure you follow the OUT TNITE page for the next votes. If we want to keep it on a Friday, we need to pack the place to ensure the venue isn’t loosing it usual weekend trade otherwise we might have to move to a Thursday or a Sunday. Let’s support Bar Retro because they’ve always supported us by opening early and providing our free afterparty.
Whose organising the event?
So under the umbrella of Scunthorpe Pride but a separate entity, OUT TNITE is a brand our board member Leanne started back in 2018 and even before that she was organising LGBTQ events and nights as far back as 19 years ago at Geneva! Of course the Pride team are still involved for support because we are a family, so you’ll probably see some familiar faces helping out at the event.
