To keep everyone safe and ensure we keep within our event safety plan and licensing agreement we must please ask that you follow the rules below:
- Strictly No Glass on site
- All visitors and their belongings will be inspected for their personal safety upon arrival.
- No BBQ’s / Fireworks /No Canisters
- No Pets or Dogs (except walking assistant dogs)
- No Alcohol to be taken out of the licensed bar area. Alcohol must be bought and consumed in the enclosed bar area situated next to Scunthorpe Library. No alcohol to be brought into site or the main arena.
- No Open Bottles (you may bring sealed soft drinks and water or an empty reusable drink bottle to refill.) If you bring an open can or bottle of soft drink you may be asked to consume or discard before entering site.
- Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
- Behaviour and attitude, Any behaviour that is deemed to be unfriendly or antagonistic will result in being asked to leave the event. The security team reserves the right to remove anyone from the event. We want everyone to have a happy and safe Scunthorpe Pride.
- No Littering, please use the bins provided around site, if you see any litter on the floor please pick it up to save our volunteers a long night.
- We aim to maintain a safe festival environment, especially towards children, and therefore, intoxicated behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Smoking is not permitted inside buildings, marquees or individual tents at any time.
- Children under the age of 16, accompanied by an adult (parent or legal guardian)
- Dress code, Please be mindful of minors and their family members as it is an inclusive family friendly event and anything that could be deemed explicit or overtly sexual shall not be tolerated. Read more about Dress code here.
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO ENTER SITE WITH:
- No alcoholic drinks and opened soft drinks/water
- No aerosols or high pressured packaged products (including deodorants and sunscreens)
- No firearms, stun guns or self-defence weapons (including pepper spray, lasers, etc.)
- No sharp objects and close combat weapons (knifes, scissors, axes, tools, chains, etc.)narcotics and illegal substances
- No pyrotechnics and explosive devices
- No flammables and flammable liquids
- No drones and unmanned aerial devices (we have Jaw Media) so leave it to the pros.
- No bicycles, or any other form of vehicle, without a special permission issued by the Organiser.
All rules are there for the safety of the people attending and volunteers, we must keep to certain rules to maintain safety and licensing standards. Anyone seen to be breaking these rules may be asked to leave site immediately.
